Organizzato dal Marconi Club e gestito dalla Sezione ARI di Loano (SV) lo “Slow CW QSO Party” vuole agevolare i principianti “Novice” appassionati del CW avvicinandoli alla telegrafia in una competizione serena e piacevole per smaliziarsi e divertirsi nel contempo, affiancandoli ai più esperti che hanno così la possibilità di riprovare l’emozione dei loro primi QSO e divenendo nel mentre mentori per nuove leve.
Il contest sarà anche un’opportunità per far ricredere anche i più scettici e avvicinarli alla nobile “Arte” della telegrafia.
I Novice (principianti) del CW hanno così l’opportunità di mettere in pratica le loro capacità, accrescendole, motivandosi e spronandosi a non perdere l’entusiasmo ma anzi rafforzandolo.
I più esperti avranno invece l’opportunità di riprovare le emozioni dei primi QSO in CW adeguando pazientemente la loro velocità a quella dei corrispondenti principianti.
“Velocisti, siete davvero sicuri di essere altrettanto confidenti in un QSO in QRS?!”.
L’obbiettivo non si limita quindi ad una pura competizione ma più ad una festa (Party) che vuole regalare divertimento, incoraggiare i principianti e incuriosire tutti gli altri OM a questo bellissimo ed intramontabile modo operativo.

FCC Closed January 9, 2025 for President Carter National Day of Mourning

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will be closed on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in observance of the national day of mourning for former President Jimmy Carter. Exam session applications for new and upgraded licenses, as well as individual and club license filings, will not be processed. Application processing will resume when FCC offices reopen on Friday, January 10 at 8:00 AM EST.

Si ricorda che il diritto annuale della vecchia licenza di esercizio (il librettino verde) doveva essere versato nel periodo dal 1° al 16 dicembre dell'anno che precedeva quello cui si riferiva.
Il contributo per l'attuale Autorizzazione Generale deve esser versato fra il 1° e il 31 gennaio dell'anno di riferimento.
In buona sostanza, il versamento 2025 dei 5 euro dovrà essere effettuato nel mese di gennaio 2025. Ecco la Circolare con riportate le nuove modalità di pagamento:
