ARRL Headquarters and W1AW Holiday Schedule

Un anno fa leggevate il primo editoriale a firma del nuovo Direttore di RadioRivista Zagni, intitolato "Prendo il timone con orgoglio" e oggi, dopo un anno, è tempo dei primi bilanci. Abbiamo fatto un grosso lavoro per cercare di ottimizzare la gestione e per rendere l'aspetto grafico ancora più accattivante. L'esperienza di coordinare una delle più prestigiose riviste di Radioamatore al mondo, assieme alla Redazione tutta e con il costante supporto del CDN ARI, è stata unica ed emozionante.

Dopo quattro frenetiche settimane di meeting all’ ITU WRC e una settimana precedente di riunioni per la Radio Assembly (RA), il WRC-23 si è concluso venerdì 15 dicembre, dove nel complesso i radioamatori ne sono usciti molto bene, nonostante le enormi pressioni sullo spettro radio da LF- ai THz. Questo è un giusto riconoscimento allo sforzo del team IARU, che a volte ha dovuto lavorare durante questo periodo dalle 8:00 fino a oltre le 2:00, compresi i fine settimana.

In cima alla lista delle priorità per i radioamatori; era il punto 9.1b dell'ordine del giorno sulla coesistenza dell'assegnazione secondaria amatoriale e amatoriale via satellite con il servizio primario di radionavigazione via satellite in 1240 – 1300 MHz. Ciò ha visto quattro anni di strenui sforzi nel periodo precedente alla WRC e ha portato a una raccomandazione concordata già durante la RA, e seguita dall’accordo nella settima plenaria al WRC23 di menzionare la raccomandazione in una nuova nota a piè di pagina per l’assegnazione. Sia la raccomandazione che la nota a piè di pagina rappresentano un ottimo risultato per i servizi amatoriali.

Student-Led ARISS Contact a Success
