A new sunspot appeared on the last day in March and the first days of April, with daily sunspot numbers of 12, 13 and 12. Total sunspot area increased on each day from 10 to 20 to 30 millionths of a solar hemisphere.

Western Pennsylvania ARES Group Conducts District-Wide Simplex Drill

Sarò un entusiasta di natura ma continuo ad esser fermamente convinto che siano dei “ragazzi” in gamba. E mi piace immaginare che un tale Guglielmo Marconi sia orgoglioso di quanto fanno. Avevo già dedicato loro un editoriale qualche tempo fa e così, visto che sembra l’altro ieri ma il tempo è passato, la gente si dimentica e il loro lavoro continua, con ancor più impegno e dedizione, anch’io mi ripeto con questo mio nuovo scritto perché tutti abbiano ben presente che cosa significhino impegno e dedizione. E, soprattutto, tenacia. Già, tenacia, perché i “ragazzi” del CSMI, il Coordinamento delle stazioni marconiane ce la mettono proprio tutta in ciò che fanno. Per chi si fosse messo all’ascolto solo adesso faccio un breve riassunto delle puntate precedenti. Tutto prese avvio nei primi mesi del 2014, quando Roberto IS0JMA cominciò, con un lavoro da certosino, a porre le basi del suo ambizioso quanto difficile progetto. Prese a contattare Sezioni ARI, Team e Gruppi,  legati o vicini alle varie stazioni e/o località marconiane italiane, stilando un primo censimento, tenendo conto delle loro peculiarità, delle iniziative da queste avviate, dei progetti commemorativi e delle attivazioni in essere o in divenire.
